The SSB trained guerrillas staged a protest in support of their demands pending for seven years and submitted a memorandum to Union Home Minister through the Garhwal Commissioner on Monday. The SSB trained guerrilla from different districts participated in the protest rally here. They accused the State Government of maintaining an apathetic attitude towards them. Their main demand is regularisation of job and pension for former guerrillas.
The SSB trained guerrillas held a meeting at the Ramlila ground after which they rallied through different localities of the town raising slogans in support of their demand and against the State Government. In the memorandum addressed to the Union Home Minister, they have stated that they have been agitating in support of their demands for past seven years in different parts of Uttarakhand. They have requested the Home Minister to consider the proposal of SSB Academy director and give justice to SSB trained guerrillas.
