Members of the guerilla organisation trained by Seema Suraksha Bal (SSB) have alleged that the State Government has sidelined them, backtracking from its earlier promise of providing them with alternative jobs in different Government departments.

In a meeting held at Chamba today, the members from the Guerilla organisation alleged that the State Government, on one hand, is approving appointments in various departments for other organisations and, on the other, is neglecting similar demand put forth by members from the Guerrilla organisation.

They further alleged that the State Government in a cabinet meeting had decided to provide jobs to the trained Guerillas in PWD, SDRF, Forest and Police department but has not taken any action so far. The members also demanded the Centre  to provide them jobs in Eco Task Force. The district general secretary of the organisation, Pl Uniyal said if their demands are not met they would march towards CM’s house as a mark of protest.

Dinesh Gairola, Mohan lal Bhatt, Jyoti lal, Khemraaj Saklani, Sulochna Devi, Shanit Devi, Manohar Prasad, Ratan Singh Rawat and others were present on the occasion.
