A flying squad on election duty checked the helicopter in which the Union Home minister reached Gopeshwar in Chamoli district on Monday. The team was acting on the instruction of the Election Commission of India to ensure that vehicles used in campaigning do not carry any material which may be used in a manner that violates the election model code of conduct. The team which checked the helicopter found nothing incriminating in the chopper.
