SP leaders bat for Dimple Yadav as State in-charge

Published on:

State Samajwadi leaders are all set to press the SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav to make Dimple Yadav in-charge for Uttarakhand in view of 2017 Vidhan Sabha election, said SP State president Dr Satyanarayan Sachan while interacting with media persons on Thursday.

Sachan denied there is any internal bickering within the State party unit-a stance that stands in contradiction to what SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has observed during his recent visit to Uttarakhand. Mulayam said internal differences among the State leaders of the party had caused the party’s poor performance in the recent lok Sabha election and the series of Assembly elections in the State.

However, Sachan said there are no such factions and the party men are working for the interest of the party.

Moreover, there is no difference in regards to the party affairs between him and  the former State president Vinod Barthwal. Both are working shoulder to shoulder for the party as well as for the betterment of the society as a whole. Both had recently raised local issues pertaining to common people of the State outside the Assembly premises when the session was on.

To strength the party across the State, he would soon declare the names of office bearers in various districts in consultation with Mulayam Singh, he added.

According to him, there are hardly any difference between the policies being pursued by the Congress and the BJP. The party has been championing public causes and will continue to do the same in future, he added.
