Son of a district leader of BJP minority morcha was injured as he sustained bullet injuries in his arms during a shootout that occurred in Jwalapur on Friday. The injured was rushed to the district hospital from where he was referred to a higher medical centre.
It is learnt that on Friday afternoon, Suhail, 25, son of Rubi Begam, was shot by one Akbar, resident of Jwalapur, from his firearm. Suhail was admitted to the district hospital in a serious condition, police said.
Speaking to The Pioneer, SSI Sandeep Thapliyal said, “The condition of the youth is now stable. The accused is now on the run. We are on the lookout for him.”
