Himalayan Icon for Nature and Social Welfare organisation will felicitate 11 personalities of the State for their commendable work in various spheres. Addressing the media here on Friday, the organisation’s head Ritesh Farswan said that there is no dearth of talent in Uttarakhand but the talent needs to be recognised.
“A considerable number of people are making the State proud with their work in various institutions and organisations across the nation. Many are working in various capacities in the Indian film industry and other fields. Himalayan Icon for Nature and Social Welfare has decided to honour them,” said Farswan.
He informed that a programme to felicitate the selected 11 will be held at the Town Hall on November 30 in the presence of Congress leader Suryakant Dhasmana, State Slum Settlement Development Committee chairman, Rajpur Road MlA Rajkumar and others.
The aim of the organisation is to provide a platform for talented persons of Uttarakhand and for this it plans to organise public awareness activities periodically.
