Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre has forecast rain/snow at isolated places especially in Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh districts, in around 20 per cent area of Uttarakhand on Wednesday. Dry weather would prevail in rest of the State. Snow fall (01 to 10 cm in depth) may occur at places with height around 3,200 m and above. Anand Sharma, director, Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre, attributed this to western disturbances. In Dehradun, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 27.1 degree Celsius and 14.5 degree Celsius respectively on Tuesday. The weather forecast for Dehradun on Wednesday is partly cloudy becoming generally cloudy sky towards afternoon/evening with possibility of thunder cloud development in some areas.
