The police recovered eight cartons of Indian Manufacture Foreign liquor from the residence of Mehtab Singh in village Oojali on Friday. The recovered liquor is valued at Rs64,500 in the market. The accused Mehtab was arrested by police under section 60 of Excise Act and produced in the court.
According to Pauri Kotwali police, the police team headed by sub inspector Chandra Mohan Singh raided a home in Oojali village and recovered the smuggled liquor. The accused was produced in the court where he was granted bail.
