Teams of medical experts from Shri Mahant Indiresh (SMI) Hospital, Patel Nagar, Dehradun will be deployed during Jhanda mela. Those suspected to be afflicted with Swine flu will be tested free while those found afflicted with the dreaded disease will be given treatment, free of cost in the hospital, said Darba Sahib Coordinator VP Nauityal.
"With the increasing cases of Swine flu happening in various parts of the country and the possibility of a large number of pilgrims arriving in SGRR Darbar to participate in the hoisting of sacred flag, scheduled on March 11, we have decided to deploy medial teams from the hospital during Jhanda mela. The devotees can avail themselves of the facilities either in getting tested for the disease or treated in the hospital, free of cost," he added.
