There is good news for the students of all the schools of Dehradun. Shri Mahant Indiresh (SMI) Hospital has announced free of cost medical consultation and health check-up for the students of all the schools of Dehradun.
The children who will be admitted to the hospital will be able to avail 50 per cent discount as per the hospital rules. The students will be allowed to bring with them their identity cards and a letter from their respective principal about health check-up. This scheme is readily available for the students with immediate effect.
Dr Vinay Rai, Medical Superintendent of SMI on Wednesday informed that all the Government and non-Govt. schools' students will be able to avail this discount on health check-up showing their identity cards and in a group showing a letter from their principal. If in a group, even the facility of transport to and fro SMI Hospital will be made available by SGRR Education Mission, Shri Darbar Sahib. In this context, Chief Education Officer, Dehradun has already informed the principals of all the Govt. and non-Govt. schools' principals.
