On the completion of five years of Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences engaged in providing service to people in Uttarakhand, its chairman Krishna Avtar said on Saturday that the institute is committed to deliver affordable and world class quality healthcare services focused on the needs, requirements, expectations and safety of the people. “We were determined to create a world class facility which would cater to all the different types of diseases and enable the patients to have access to all the different specialties under one roof. It was our vision right from the very beginning that along with treatment of the patients we would also aim at contributing in establishing a healthy society/community,” he said.

“As you are aware that Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences was inaugurated and started functioning in the year 2012 and within 18 months of its inception, the hospital was successfully accredited with the country’s highest quality standards, NABH & NABl, thus becoming the first and only super multi-specialty hospital in the region to achieve this distinction. In these past five years, Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences has achieved several milestones. The people of this region can correctly and in an unbiased manner evaluate and assess the contribution Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences in providing affordable quality healthcare and making it accessible to the common people of this region,” he further said.

“Advanced healthcare in recent times has become excessively expensive and out of bounds of the common people and at times the best and the most advanced treatment/ procedures cannot ascertain complete recovery from various diseases. Simultaneously, the truth is that it is not possible to provide free treatment. However, through preventive medical education and awareness, we can certainly empower the people to a healthier and safer way of life. In case anybody contracts any disease its treatment at the early stages is more effective and less expensive,” he added.
