'SIIDCUl sold land meant for flats for varsity staff to builders'

The BJP MlA from Kichha Rajesh Shukla has alleged that the SIIDCUl has sold the huge piece of land to the builders that were sanctioned for the residential apartments for the employees of the Pantnagar Agriculture University.

While addressing the mediapersons in a press conference held at state party’s office in Dehradun, Shukla alleged that the SIDCUl has violated the memorandum and failed to construct residential flats for the staff and students of the University.

He lamented that the Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna has made managing director of the SIIDCUl as the nodal agency for carrying the probe into this matter, despite the fact the SIIDCUl has failed to fulfill the norms mentioned in the memorandum. He also demanded from the state government to appoint retire judge or independent agency to look into this matter. He lamented that the BJP leaders has been continuously raising the selling of lands to builders in the Vidhan Sabha  for the last two years.
