Chief Development Officer VS Dhanik instructed that show cause notice would be issued against all the ultrasound centers, who failed to provide information online or details in hard copy regarding the form F related to the PNDT Act. He also instructed that instruction all information related to the birth should be submitted to the nearby Municipal Corporation or Municipality.
He also said that no modification should be allowed in the birth and death records. These instructions were given to the Chief Medical Officer in a PCPNDT Act District Advisory Committee meeting held on Monday. A short analysis of the last meeting held on September 6 was also done by the Chief Development Officer. Meanwhile, he also instructed to paste posters related to female foeticide at places like district and block level bus stands, BHEl, to put flex board at Sainik Hospital Roorkee and write slogans on all the buses of Haridwar Bus Dipo. It should also be promoted through television and cable operators should be given proper instruction in this regard. Among those present on the occasion were Chief Medical Officer Dr Sushma Gupta, deputy CMO, Roorkee, Dr RK Anand, Santosh Chauhan and others.
