Dr Pandya said, “Gayatri Pariwar is standing by the flood-affected people of Kerala. Thousands of our volunteers are providing food, medicines and the like to the suffering people in different districts of the southern State. We plunge into service whenever any disaster strikes any part of our country. We rushed to Gujarat after earthquake struck the State. The same happened in Kerala too after flood wreaked havoc there. We would never be found wanting when the distressed people need relief”

He, further, said that a disaster management committee has been formed which is now working on seven-point programme to mitigate the suffering of the disaster-struck people.
