The police horse Shaktiman sustaining injury in its hind leg during a BJP protest rally on March 14 is recovering fast after the limb was amputated and an artificial limb was provided.
Doctors are conducting medial check-up from time to time. Several persons from Uttarakhand and other parts of the country had supported in the form of money, services and others to the police administration during the treatment and surgery of the injured horse. Some of them are Parul Bhutan, Narendra Singh, Aatik Ahmed, Santanu Kumar, Sanjay Verma, Major Bhupendra Singh and Firoj Khambata, as revealed in the press release issued by SSP office.
