Mala Rajya lakshmi Shah, Member of Parliament from Tehri Garwal while presiding over a meeting of district vigilance and monitoring committee at Collectorate in Dehradun on Wednesday reviewed the progress of the Centrally-sponsored schemes.
The committee members- Doiwala MlA Hira Singh Bisht, Raipur MlA Umesh Sharma ‘Kau’ Rajpur Road MlA Rajkumar, Rishikesh MlA Prem Chandra Aggarwal, Sahaspur MlA Sahdev Pundir, district Panchayat chairperson Chaman Singh and others were present in the meeting.
She expressed disappointment with the district officers for not providing progress report to her and other public representatives on various Centre and state government- sponsored schemes being implemented in the districts on time. She directed the district officers to ensure that public representatives are informed about the progress report regarding the schemes from time to time.
