Most of the State senior police officers were present on the occasion of flagging off of the forensic investigation vans at the police headquarter; however, the senior police officers, including State Director General of Police BS Sidhu, avoided donning the police uniform.
It seems, either the senior police officer of the state dislikes the police uniform or he does not think putting on the uniform has any importance. This despite the fact that the State police head keeps on issuing guidelines to the police officers to put on uniform at least twice a week.
