A seminar was organised at the Asahi Japanese Language and Culture Center here regarding studying Japanese language and job placements in Japan, mostly for IT and engineering graduates.
International department head of MSG Group, Japan, Yamanaka Tessei, manager Akiyama Ryuji, student support officer of Fukuoka Japanese Language and Culture Centre, Ashish Yonjan along with Ichchha R Khadge the Managing Director of the center expressed their views at the presentation.
They pointed out that Japan has limited youth manpower in most of its companies and is hence interested in offering an opportunity to the youths of India to work in Japan and gain experience of working with Japanese companies there. India and Japan have been maintaining cordial relations even as corporate relations between the two nations have also been growing considerably. There are about 400 Japanese companies functioning in India. And, growing number of professionals exchanging skill and knowledge with Japanese people has generated the need for Japanese language skill and an idea about Japanese culture.
In view of these factors, the centre in Dehradun was established in 2015 for providing Japanese language education, recruiting students to Japan for further higher studies and to support graduate youths of India for job placement in Japan.
