In order to conduct the high school and intermediate board examinations commencing from March 10 and ending on April 1, peacefully, Section 144 has been imposed in the 200 meter radius of the examination centres located in some tehsils of Bageshwar district, including Bageshwar, Dugnakuri and Kafligair, said Fincha Ram Chauhan, SDM, Bageshwar.
With imposition of the Section 144, no one will be allowed to carry firearms, edged weapons, explosive materials, to name a few things, in the 200 meter radius of the examination centres, added Chauhan. More so, five or more will not be allowed to stand together in the areas where the Section 144 has been imposed, added the official of the Bageshwar district administration.
More so, procession, public speech and sloganeering which may disturb the said examination process, would not be allowed in the areas where Section 144 is in force, added the Bageshwar district administration officials. The Section 144 will remain into effect in the examination centres located in the aforesaid tehsils till the completion of the examination, added the officials concerned.
