In view of Vidhan Sabha session starting from Friday, the district administration has enforced section 144 of CrPC within the 300 metres of Vidhan Sabha campus. Additional DM (administration) Harbeer Singh informed this on Thursday, adding that the enforcement of the prohibitory order was an imperative in view of several organisations being expected to take out protests in support of their demands during the session.
The order would remain in force from March 24 to March 29-the day the session would end, he said.
