Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University has started preparations to hold private examinations for the coming academic session. Forms will be made available in all post offices for examinees from December. With the backpapers ending on Tuesday, the university has decided to declare the exam results by December 20.
The university officials held a meet to discuss preperations for the next academic session.
Vice chancellor US Rawat expressed dissatisfaction at the failure of self-financed BEd colleges to provide sought information in spite of being served notices by the university. It was decided that the list of such colleges not adhering to the rules will be submitted to the Governor and State administration.
The vice chancellor, registrar and deputy registrar had themselves conducted checks during the back paper but none of the examinees was caught indulging in malpractices.
Rawat said that evaluation centres have been made in Dehradun, Tehri, Kotdwar and Srinagar to enable timely declaration of the back-paper examination results. The finalization of the BEd examination schedule is being delayed because many BEd colleges have not yet submitted necessary documents to the university.
