In order to conduct relief and rescue operations on Chardham Yatra routes in case of disaster, the State Disaster Response Force has drafted induction plan in view of the forthcoming Kedarnath Yatra-2015. One company of SDRF will be deployed on Kedarnath and Badrinath routes while two companies of SDRF comprising 165 personnel would be deployed at other parts like Kedarnath, lincholi, Bheembali, Gaurikund, Seetapur, Harshil, lambgar, Munikireti, Pithoragarh, Dehradun and Almora. The teams will act swiftly and minimise the effect of disaster. A paramedic will be deployed in each team of SDRF to provide first medial aids to disaster-affected persons.
