In a shocking incident the police have arrested a security guard of a school located near Ballupur chowk here for sodomizing a three-year-old student. The child is a play group student and lives with his grandfather who is a senior officer of ONGC.
The culprit Mukesh Thapa is a security guard in the renowned school. The father of the boy is an army officer and is currently posted in Jammu and Kashmir.
The mother of the boy noticed that he was keeping quite low for some days and complained of ache in stomach and anal area. She found reddish marks on the area around his anus and asked if they were caused by any injury. She was shell shocked when the boy told her that they were caused by an 'Uncle' wearing uniform in the school.
The worried family contacted the police and on the complaint the security guard of the school was arrested. The child has categorically told that security guard Thapa is responsible for injuring him. The In-Charge of the Cantonment police station Rajesh Shah told The Pioneer that guard is arrested and case against him has been lodged.
The incident of sodomy of the three year old child in a place like school has sent shock waves among the residents of the city.
" I am shocked beyond words. No place is safe; stern action should be taken against the culprit and all the schools should install close circuit cameras so that a vigil is kept all the time for the safety of kids," said a Rajpur road resident.
