Shivalik College of Engineering (SCE) offers courses in several engineering branches like Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering and others with an aim to impart quality engineering education and empower the students to succeed in global competitive environment and build a career.
Workshops and seminars are organised on emerging and innovative technologies from time to time. SCE vice chairman Ajay Kumar said that the college was established to provide innovative industrial training solutions in all the core engineering branches to enhance professional ability and employment prospects. The courses are designed after due consultation with the industries and executed through experienced professionals.
SCE is a constituent of Rijan Educational Society, approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Government of India and affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education.
The vice chairman said, “To harness communication skill with advanced emerging technology we have integrated internationally accepted multilingual software combining information communication technology known as the language lab. The language laboratory is an audio or audio-visual installation used as an aid in modern language teaching.”
“Students are motivated to actively participate in the personality development programmes and extra-curricular activities. We organise workshops and Industrial visits every semester to fill the gap between curriculum and Industry. Guest lectures are invited every semester from industry and academia,” Kumar added.
