SC decision exposes Cong, allies: CM

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has opined that the Supreme Court decision on the petitions seeking a probe into judge BH loya’s death has exposed the Congress party and its allies. He said this while talking to media persons at the CM residence here on Thursday.

The Chief Minister said that while hearing on the pleas, the court had stated that judge loya’s death was a natural death. He said, “While dismissing the public interest litigations, it was also observed that the petition had been motivated by political reasons and that it had been filed with a sense of political retribution. It was also stated that the petition was a veiled PIl which had been guided by an invisible hand motivated by political reasons. Such petitions were an attempt to defame the judicial system especially the Supreme Court of India which is very unfortunate,” said the Chief Minister.

Rawat went on to state that the Congress party had time and again conspired against the Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah, attempting to humiliate him and damage his political standing.

He said, “Today the judicial system of India has put the truth in front of all. The Congress president Rahul Gandhi had earlier held a Press conference on this issue and along with 150 members of parliament, had gone to petition the President of India as part of a political drama. The Congress president should seek an apology from the nation for his attempts to spoil the atmosphere in the country with his conspiracies including the one to dent the faith in the Indian judicial system.

As Rahul Gandhi is incapable of indulging in politics on the ground he attempted to play politics in the court. But this attempt was exposed by the Supreme Court.

The Gandhi family seems to think that only they should hold the reins of governance of the nation in their hands. If someone who rises from poverty and backwardness to serve the country they hatch political conspiracy to crush such persons.

Apart from this, some advocates ignored the dignity of their profession and displayed behaviour in the court which is unfortunate and deplorable. Such advocates misused PIl and for their own gains, turned it into ‘Political and Paisa Interest litigation’,” opined the Chief Minister.
