Swami Gyan Swaroop Sanand who shifted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Rishikesh by the Dehradun police said he longed to go back to Matri Sadan where he was on an indefinite fast, demanding unimpeded flow of Ganga before he was lifted from the site of the fasting stir.
“I don’t want to remain in hospital. I was first brought to Doon Hospital and then to AIIMS, I just want to be in the ashram,” said Sanand while speaking to The Pioneer on Thursday. He said he had refused to undergo Angiography test. “I am wondering why the administration is not acting on the High Court order and get me back to the ashram,” he said.
Showing the High Court order, the Matri Sadan founder Swami Shivanand who met the saint at AIIMS with special permission said, “The fasting was ended by the administration using force. The saint was in perfect health.”
The CMS, AIIMS Dr Brahmprakash Tripathi said that his medical reports have been sought. “ Since echocardiogram showed irregularity Angiography was advised which he refused to undergo,” he added.
