Salt MlA accuses Govt of biased attitude towards his constituency

Salt MlA Surendra Singh Jeena raised a breach of privilege, alleging that in his Assembly Constituency, “the Government has laid down foundation stone of a project but they neither invited me nor cared to have my name embossed on the foundation stone.”

He also showed a picture to buttress his point.  The Speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal sought to play down the matter by  assuring an inquiry.  But Opposition leader Ajay Bhatt said that picture is already attached so you instruct treasury bench on it.

Then Speaker said that earlier he had also issued instruction to the house to carry the name of local MlA and also send invitation if any programme is organised by the State in his constituency. Even he instructed the minister concerned to replace the foundation stone with a new one carrying his name.
