Congress candidate from Tehri parliamentary constituency, Saket Bahuguna campaigned in various colonies of Rajpur Road Assembly segment along with the local MlA Rajkumar and party supporters.
Bahuguna appealed the party workers and the public to vote in favour of the Congress, claiming that the Congress alone was capable of facilitating the desired level of development in the State and nation. He cited the various laws enacted by the Congress led UPA Government at the Centre and the steps taken by the Congress led State Government to facilitate welfare of various sections of society. MlA Rajkumar elicited votes for the Congress candidates while adding that the execution of stalled works will be ensure on priority basis by the State Government after completion of the lok Sabha elections.
