The report of Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has exposed how rules and regulations are being flayed blatantly in Uttarakhand and shows that a Jungle Raj prevails in the State, said the spokesperson of State BJP, Vinay Goyal while addressing newsmen here on Monday. He said that the CAG has indicted the Government for not utilising money allotted to it. “The State Government regularly harps about lack of money but in reality, it has dumped the budget,’’ he said.
Blaming the Chief Minister for having scant regard for system and indulging in culture of ‘My wish’ (Meri Marzi), the BJP leader said that the CAG report has exposed the State Government. Alleging corruption in Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation, he said that a private agency ‘ Ace integrated Solutions private limited’ was hired to conduct recruitment for 190 posts in the corporation against all norms. He said that no tender was floated for selection of the agency and a contract of Rs 1 Crore was provided to the firm arbitrarily. He said that in the advertisement for the post , additional qualification of degree in law or in industrial engineering was required but it is learnt that Dhyani did not attached his law graduate degree while applying for the post and was selected despite of the fact that many candidates with higher qualification than him were in contention for the post. The BJP spokesperson also raised questions on suspicious absence of UPCl Managing Director (MD), S S Yadav from the office from last many days. He said that the State Government is misusing the fund collected by levying of 1 percent of labour cess.
