Police sources have suggested that there might have been some reconciliation between Ruby Choudhary, the woman accused of staying on the lBSNAA campus clandestinely for several months, and the academy administration by Friday evening as she has since softened her stand as far as her tirade against academy Deputy Director Saurabh Jain that raged for two days is concerned.
“As per the understanding, as we suspect, she did not drag the name of Jain in the court nor did she mention his name while interacting with the media on Saturday,” said a senior police official on condition of anonymity.
They opined Choudhary, who had persistently coaxed the police to lodge an FIR against Jain based on her statement, turned mum after she was arrested. Moreover, she chose to take all the blame upon herself as far as the main charge tagged to her is concerned. “Something looks fishy as far as her changed demeanour is concerned,” said a senior police official, insisting on anonymity.
