GMVN lost property worth Rs 15 crore in the worst affected Rudraprayag district. Similarly, it suffered loss of property worth Rs 4.78 crore in Chamoli district followed by Rs 2.65 crore loss in Uttarkashi, Rs 1.83 crore in Tehri and Rs 40 lakh in Pauri.
Thus, according to estimation by officials, the GMVN lost properties worth Rs 25 crore in disaster.
