About half a dozen school children received minor injuries when parts of a primary school building roof, located near Haldwani Jail Road crossing, collapsed here on Thursday.
All the injured children were taken to nearby hospital for treatment. The conditions of the children are reported to be stable. The incident occurred when the classes were on on Thursday morning in this primary school.
Though it was rather a sunny day here on Thursday incessant rains that had occurred in the past few days could have led to roof collapse, it is learnt.
