In a tragic road accident, a 10-year old boy, Ayushman Nautiyal, died when the Vikram he was on, overturned. The driver lost control, the car stumbled against a stone in Nehru Colony in Dehradun on Monday. Ayushman was a student of Class IV in Doon International School, Dalanwala. The accident occurred around 8.30 am when he was going to his school.
The boy was seriously injured after he came under the Vikram. later, he was declared brought dead by the doctors. Two other students who were also on the auto received minor injuries. Eyewitnesses said that Vikram was moving in full speed when the mishap occurred. Recently, Governor KK Paul expressed concern over increasing cases of road incidents in the state and directed the authorities to take measures to prevent road accidents and fatalities.
