Expressing concern over the rising tendency among the employees to go on strike, the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that strike is not a solution for any problem.
Strike is not just detrimental to the interests of the employees but it also adversely affects the interests of the common people and the state, he said.
CM added that the employees should come forward for dialogue to solve their issues. He said that the state government has always remained sensitive towards the legitimate demands of the employees.
On a cautious note, the CM said that the employee associations should adopt a positive view and help the State Government, keeping in view the interest of the people of the state. “Besides, they should refrain from making Uttarakhand to seem like a strike-prone State,” he said.
