The Century was marked as the century of change, where man went from 20 dragging his load on his back to travelling at supersonic speeds but this change has had a darker side too. Man’s lust for growth has been fuelled by his exploitation of natural resources and the ultimate sufferers have been the animals.
Keeping this in mind, the cadets of RIMC staged a play ‘Main Hun Jal’ in collaboration with Centre for Folk Performing Arts and Culture, HNB Garhwal University, written by Anurag Verma. It throws light on the humungous amount of waste that is being thrown in our rivers every day and how the animals and birds are dying because of it. The play was directed by TK Agarwal and performed by the College’s Drama Club.
The chief guest for the evening was Col HS Bainsla, Commandant RIMC. He praised the cadets on their fine performance and encouraged them to continue the same. SS Dev, Dean, Centre for Folk Performing Arts and Culture at HNB Garwal University and Dr Jagriti Dobhal were also present. PNS n Dehradun
