The alumni of RIMC congregated at the 92nd reunion function held at its campus in Dehradun on Thursday. The day started with the laying wreath at the war memorial for those who fell in the line of duty. The wreath was laid down by former Chief of Army Staff Gen VN Sharma, Vice Admiral PK Chatterjee, former Air Marshal DC Kumaria and RIMC Commandant Col HS Bainsala. Veterans and serving defence personnel from across the country gathered at RIMC and witnessed series of programmes held during the reunion function. The RIMC cadets exhibited their skills in inter-section horse show competition and also displayed their skills at hanky picking, tent pegging, team tent pegging, show jumping etc. A friendly cricket match was also played between old boys and the cadets of the RIMC. later in the evening, a prize distribution function was held and the chief guest for the function was Vice Admiral PK Chatterjee, who also urged form the Cadets to work hard to achieve their set goals. Addressing the gathering, RIMC Commandant Col HS Bainsala, highlighted about the couple of steps taken by administration for up-gradation of the college. A cultural programme was organised in which cadets exhibited their skills.
