In response to the BJP daring Harish Rawat to name three achievements his regime has made during his tenure as the CM, the CM’s close aide Surendra Kumar named some major achievements   on the part of the Harish Rawat regime on Saturday. “Trashing the BJP-spawned  ridicule  of asking the  Char Dham pilgrims to bring with them ‘Kafan’ in view of the  dreaded condition of the pilgrimage routes, over      15 lakh pilgrims have visited char dhams and Nanda Raj Jat Yatra this season. Besides, three crore pilgrims visited Haridwar during the Ardh Kumbh-2016 that was organised by the state Government alone with its own resources, sans any support from the Centre.  Besides, reconstruction of the deluge- ravaged Kedarnath shrine has been completed with tourists coming at full throttle. The state government declared a song composed by a Nainital resident Hemant Bisht as the state song,” Kumar said. He also cited     Mukhya Mantri Mahila Satat Ajeevika Yojna (chief minister consistent women livelihood scheme) under which several schemes like Khilti Kaliyan yojna, Ganga Gai Mahila Dairy Yojna are being executed to the welfare of the women of the state.
