Residents of Sahastradhara (Rajeshwarnagar phase –II) protested after seeing cow’s intestines dumped on the road. Police forces led by SP City Jagdish Chandra rushed to the site after being informed about this incident.
Miscreants are suspected of the action aimed at raising communal tensions. Mussoorie MlA Ganesh Joshi also reached the site. Police somehow managed to control the situation. A case has been registered under section 3/11 of Uttarakhand Cow and it’s Progeny Protection Act 2007 against unidentified persons in Rajpur Police Station on Thursday.
Mussoorie CO Jaya Baloni said that situation in the area is under control and police patrolling has been intensified in the area.
