The interaction between the ten turncoat MlAs of the Congress and the BJP leadership has started eliciting questions from party workers. At a meeting of the BJP in Gaja Mandal, the speakers strongly opposed the hypothetical induction of Congress rebels into the BJP on condition of them being provided ticket to contest the polls. The party workers warned that they will strongly express their objection in case the BJP works towards this direction.
They said that the party workers will have to consolidate their unity now in view of the 2017 assembly election. BJP disciplinary committee head Gyan Singh Negi extolled the party workers to become more active at the booth level.
Party workers expressed their disapproval at the meeting, stressing that the Congress turncoats should not be inducted into BJP on condition of them receiving tickets to contest polls.
