The district administration of Bageshwar has directed the officials concerned to complete disaster-related works on priority basis. Stressing the need to ensure timely completion of the works in natural disaster-hit areas, the district administration Bageshwar has directed the officials concerned to maintain quality of the ongoing construction or repair works across the district.
At the same time, the district administration has cautioned the officials concerned against carelessness in carrying out the works, asserting that laxity would be taken seriously.
Repair works are presently being carried out in many parts of Bageshwar district. Reviewing the progress of the ongoing construction works involving Rs 4.50 lakh in Malde village of Bageshwar's Garur tehsil area to prevent landslide, the district administration Bageshwar has directed the officials concerned to complete the works at the earliest.
More so, it has also asked the officials to maintain quality of works so that people of the said Malde village may not have to face such landslides again and again.
