Sounding happy over the release of Mussoorie MlA Ganesh Joshi and another BJP leader Pramod Bora on bail on Tuesday, BJP state spokesperson Virendra Singh Bisht said that the release of both on bails proved that they had been put behind bars on trumped- up charges by a vindictive State Government. “It is a triumph of truth. An innocent might fall victim to falsehood for a while, but finally, truth would prevail,” he added.
Slamming the Chief Minister for indulging in vendetta politics, the BJP leader said the crisis overtaking the party and its government was retributive justice rebounding on them. “Reduced to minority, the CM and others should quit promptly. Rawat Government’s fall would be a good riddance for the State. The days of the Government are numbered, he added.
