The plan of the State Health department to vaccinate a record number of people on Saturday was successful as 1,75,244 vaccine shots were administered in 1082 sessions held on the day. The state health department data reveals that 1,73,197 citizens and 1,709 frontline workers and 338 healthcare workers were vaccinated on Saturday. Total of 50,14,385 people have been partially vaccinated while 15,73,300 fully vaccinated in the state so far.
