The Reserve Bank of India will be organising the third All India RBI Inter School Quiz competition at the Dehradun-based Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) on September 5. Giving this information, the assistant General Manager Reserve Bank Dehradun Shradha Thakur said that the All India Inter School Quiz was introduced in the year 2012 with an objective of introducing children about the role of RBI in the field of banking and finance.
She added that this year, out of the 62 centers For RBIQ- 2014, Dehradun has also been chosen as one of the centers. This is the only center from the north zone. This contest will be organised in Dehradun on September 5 between 9.30 am - 12.30 pm at RIMC, Garhi Cantt. The competition will be held for the students from class IX-XII. Schools from Dehradun, Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Hardwar, Roorkee and Nainital have been invited to participate.
Shradha Thakur has also announced a participation certificate for all participants and awards for the winners as well as five runners up teams. The quiz will be held by a trainer special quiz master from Grey Caps Private limited.
Giving detail information about the quiz, Thakur said that after the contest in all 62 centers, a competition would be held in New Delhi on November 7 between the winners of the north zone’s quiz competition.
In the second stage of the competition, semi finals and finals will be held at National level in Mumbai during the second half of November. The finals will also be telecast live. After the finals, the winners will be awarded with attractive prizes by the Governor, Reserve Bank of India.
