State BJP president Ajay Bhatt has alleged that the Harish Rawat-led Uttarakhand Government is patronising criminals. Even they don’t care about women’s dignity. For instance, a woman was reportedly molested by a Government officer in the shopping mall but the police did not lodge an FIR against the guilty officer. Even Tehsildar Manju Rawat was thrown into a river by a goon who is having affliation with the Congress party.
Even 4400 sacks of rice, which was for public distribution System (PDS) shops seized from Congress leader’s godown but Government says that they had hired the godown because they received huge consignment and did not find right place to store the grains so they took the godown on hire. These situations are looming large so their party would gheroa Vidhan Sabha on March 14 to grab the attention of the house on these issues.
Bhatt alleged that recently Nari Niketan, where deaf and dumb women was raped and later she was forced to abort her three months old foetus, incident happened but state government has not learnt lesson from this.
Despite such incident another woman was molested by SDM and PRO of a cabinet minister in shopping mall but nothing happened so far. Now question is that if government servant, who are suppose to protect the women dignity, involve themselves in molestation case then we can imagine how much state women are safe under incumbent regime.
In Chamoli district’s Tehsildar Manju Rawat, who was going to raid against the illegal mining, was pushed along with her vehicle in virahi river. With this accident she received multiple fracture. Instead of lodging FIR against the allegedly accused and congress leader Gaurab Farswan, state government senior officer advised her to forgive him because you are suppose to continue your job. Even police was trampled by vehicle and gangwar happening state’s jail.
These are enough instances which ascertains our claims that goons are being patronized by the State Government and its supporters.
Besides it state government is promoting Fl-2. With this policy state excise has received Rs500 crore less than the last year. It means the State exchequer lost Rs1000 crore because Rs500 crore from his profit and Rs500 less than the last year. First time in Uttarakhand’s 15 years long history State excise department has received financial loss than the corresponding period. It means Rs1000 crore went to the people who brought Fl-2 or patronised liquor trader who were supplying poor quality liquor to the people for the last one year.
Even State Government is patronising the Arjun Singh Bisht, though police seized 4400 sacks of rice from his godown. Instead of lodging FIR against the Congress leader Bisht, State Government says that they had hired his godown for storage because we received huge quantity of food grains from Union Government.
Now question is that how can a State hire private godown without giving public noticeIJ This is sheer case of corruption and how state government is patronizing them.
Sharpening its attack Bhatt alleged that Harish Rawat led Government keeps lambasting against the Union Government for not releasing fund to the State. In reality PM has given Rs37000 crore project to the State. For this Prime Minister himself sought progress report from chief secretary through video conferencing. Union Government is going to construct all weather roads in Uttarakhand and this decision would be historical. Instead of executing the project the Government is seeking financial help from the excutive companies. Getting fed up with the demand company representative made comment that uttarkhand atmosphere is not right for work.
