As per the day’s business schedule, the finance minister present the budget, but currently the finance department is with Chief Minister because no notification has been made by the Governor about the portfolio allocation so far. By raising this issue, Hridayesh, who was bubbling with her brown colour suitcase containing budget, got disappointed. Meanwhile, CM Harish Rawat rose for her rescue and answered queries of the Opposition. The CM said that the Cabinet has empowered Indira Hridayesh to present the Budget; so no question arises about her authority.
