Yoga guru Baba Ramdev is running parallel projects of commissioning mega food parks in the country and inducting youths into its national working body Bharat Swabhiman at the same time. He is training the youths and targets to induct one lakh new volunteers in a year into Bharat Swabhiman movement. Returning after ground laying ceremony of mega food parks in Noida and other states of India, Ramdev started first phase of youth training camp on Wednesday.
Kickstarting the five- day training camp of volunteers at Patanjali Yog Peeth in Haridwar, Ramdev said, “Since Vedic period, the saints and sages of India have been making significant contributions in different systems of the country, including political, economical, educational and others. Guided by the same spirit, he was preparing youths to spread Patanjali’s national movement all over the country.
Speaking to The Pioneer, Ramdev said, “Today the whole country is enthusiastic about Patanjali’s ideology and wishes to contribute in the progress of the country, shedding barriers of caste, creed, affluence and poverty. To empower the nation, we are harnessing the energy of these enthusiastic youths. This year one lakh new volunteers shall be inducted into Patanjali Pariwar.”
Notably, in the five- day camp, 2000 volunteers from across the country are participating and two more such camps would be organised by the end of December.
The second in command of Patanjali Yog Peeth Acharya Balkrishna exhorted the participants to practise yoga and remain disease free, setting example for others to adopt the age- old Indian science.
