The parents of Rajnish, who died after being allegedly tortured in police custody over an alleged chain snatching case, lodged a complaint against the police in Dalanwala police station on Monday.
It may be mentioned Rajnish was picked up by a police party in an alleged snatching case by Dalanwala police. However, he died while he was shifted to Coronation Hospital due to deteriorating health condition. Police lodged the FIR against 'unknown' police personnel on charge of kidnapping and murder.
Interestingly as it is, Dehradun SSP Ajay Rautela on Sunday announced the suspension of four police personnel, including a Sub Inspector over the incident. Meanwhile, Dalanwala Police station incharge Inspector Chandan Singh Bisht has been attached with Police line with immediate effect on Monday.
