The Governor's secretariat has issued a circular to ensure that the Raj Bhawan campus should become plastic-free. The circular states that use of artificial flowers, banners and polythene carry bags has been banned. Disposable plastic water bottles will not be used as far as possible.
Plastic jugs will also not be purchased. Water coolers and dispensers along with paper cups will be made available instead.
