Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre has forecast very light to moderate rains with snowfall at isolated places in higher reaches of Uttarakhand. last week, sunny days were witnessed in many parts of the state but skies turned cloudy again on Monday.
The mountainous areas of the State might have witnessed rain with snowfall on Monday while the plains experienced cloudy sky throughout the day. After enjoying sunny days in the last week, the people of the State capital woke up to cloudy skies on Tuesday. Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre director Anand Sharma attributed this to western disturbances.
