Dehradun and other plain districts of the State experienced cloudy sky followed by strong winds for some part of Tuesday which brought relief to the residents from heat. light to moderate rain with snowfall was reported at higher reaches of Uttarakhand on Tuesday.
The Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre has forecast thunder cloud development / very light to light rain at isolated places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Rudraprayag districts in Uttarakhand on Wednesday. The Met centre director Anand Sharma said that the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 32.9 degree C and 19.3 degree C respectively in Dehradun on Tuesday. The weather forecast for Dehradun on Wednesday is mainly clear sky becoming partly cloudy with the possibility of thunder cloud development in some areas and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 33 degree Celsius and 20 degree Celsius respectively.
